I am finally back!

wow it has been a long but manageable year and a half without Internet but Santa finally decided to turn it on for me this year!It has been an amazing year and I had my beautiful, HEALTHY little boy on Sept 29. His name is Keaton James Tindall and weighed 6lbs. 9oz and was 19in long. By his 2 month apt he was 11lbs 13oz and 20 1/2 in long. He was sleeping 8 hours at 8 weeks old and slept 11 hours at 2 1/2 months old. I know I am super lucky and he is such an amazing little man! He is now 3 months old and weighs close to 16 lbs. His 4 month will be here in a few weeks and I will know for sure, but he is healthy and strong and very calm and peaceful. Mikaela LOVES him to death and is the best big sister to him. She is always willing to make Keaton smile and help with his bath and even change his diaper! I know, I have my kids trained lol. Mikaela turned 3 on November 17th and she is such a smart and beautiful 3 year old. She loves to sing and talk and make people laugh, sound like anyone ... She may look like her Daddy, but she is a mini me and I love it! She is so independent and will make you smile. I love her amazing spirit and love being able to stay at home with her and be her best friend. I went to work this past Saturday for the first time since I had Keaton and Jacob was able to stay home with the kids so I worked almost 10 hours and missed my kiddo's but was very grateful for the break. Poor Keaton does not like bottles or Binky's so he was having a hard time eating and sleeping which in turn made Jacob's day a lot longer, but we got through it and hopefully we can try again another time but only for 4 or 5 hours this next time lol. I have a lot of Beautiful new born pictures of my little man and I am so glad the delivery worked out this time. All the stress is over and I can enjoy my babies now :) I hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Florida 2010

So Jacob's family decided to go on a trip! I couldn't believe it when they said they wanted to go to Florida! It was a lot of fun and a lot of stuff in 8 days, but very much worth it. We took the red eye to Orlando on some day I don't even remember cause it was all a blur to me :). After we got in at 11 am we rented a charger cause it was the nicest car there and of course I have to look hot in my car :), then from that point on it was a lot of visiting family of Jacob's Dad because he is from Florida and then we checked out his dad's houses he lived in, that was kind of creepy and his dad kept saying "this neighborhood has changed alot." lol like in a BAD way lol and Jake was just laughing at me cause I am this little white girl from Sandy, UT and have never been to a creepy place in my life lol. So dumb I know lol anyway It was interesting to see his cute, old aunts and some cousins and his Uncle is a Baptist preacher(?) so we went to his church and that was cool :)
We had 3 or 4 different hotel stays and the first was at cocoa beach I think which was amazing! The beach was maybe a quarter mile from our door and we went there almost every night to boogie board and skim board (which I suck at lol) and then the best thing in the world happened to me one night when the family took a little stroll down the beach which ended up being about 4 miles lol and guess what I saw!!!!! I freaking sea turtle coming up on the beach to lay her eggs! I am pretty sure it was the coolest thing ever since I love sea turtles so much! What made me mad though were these beach bum punks that scared her back into the water! I was so mad, but I was blessed to see her at least once, well twice cause we saw her come back out of the water 30 min later, but anyway it was awesome.
Another sweet memory that I totally recommend is going down the Crystal River. I think that is what it was called anyway and it is this fresh water river that you can tube down, we had Jacob's Uncle Eddie come with us and he is so cool. He lives in Florida so I never met him, but I would talk to him on the phone on Thanksgiving and he sounded so fun so I couldn't wait to meet him. When I finally did meet him he was better than I thought! So chill and down to earth and really good looking like the rest of the Tindall family. Anyway Uncle Eddie hooked us up with a couple of rafts and coolers to put food in and then for 4 hours, yep 4, we just floated down this river and I got the BEST tan ever!!! It was so much fun and so relaxing, just total awesomeness!
Another day we went to the Tindall cemetery and ball park. Ya I am kinda married to a famous name in Florida, cool huh? lol the cemetery is family owned and it is all pure white sand! I might just get buried there :). We did a little service project and cleaned down the granite stones and weeded the family plot and made it all pretty again. It was a better project than anticipating to do at 10 in the morning in 100% humidity and I think it was 95 degrees lol.
I am sure I am forgetting some things or a lot of things and I will update with the names of Jacob's great aunts and the rest of the family cause I will probably never meet them again so it would be nice to remember them and pictures because I got a ton of them. It was a great trip and very tiring. Kind of one of those trips that you need a trip from :) had a great time and was grateful to bond with the Tindall family. I love you guys! Thanks for putting up with me :)

I am back!!!

whoo hoo I havent had internet for 7 months! In a way I am grateful because I learned I can manage without it, but I truely missed blogging! I am not quite sure how I will attatch pitures to this yet beacause I am watching 5 kidsfor the next week and a half and I am staying at their home with my Mikaela so ya 6 kids :). They have internet so I now have access for a week and a half and I have a lot to do lol
Well according to my blog the last thing was about remodeling the house. . . that happened 7 months ago and I do have pictures to show and will get them up sometime :) so during demolition of my house we remodeled my kitchen and bathroom and did tons of yard work. I started my very own garden and put 5 rows of corn, 4 tomato plants, 3 zuccini plant, 2 rows of carrotts, and I think that is it. From my tomatoe plants I made about 50 jars of homemade salsa all season long. It was so delicous and it seemed like my husband ate them faster than I could make them lol. My corn was delicious as well and we took it on our Bear Lake trip in August of 2010.
In September of 2010 Jacob found a beautiful german shepheard mix puppy that we adopted. We named her Bella and when we got her she was 4 months old soshe is now 8 months and a healthy 40 pounds now I am hoping she doubles her size because I like big dogs, but she is at a great height now and she cant reach her head over the kitchen table yet lol.
The house has been amazing and my neighbors and ward are wonderful. There are 12 kids in the culdisac that we live in and the kids are 11 years old to 2 which is my Mikaela and she LOVES her friends! She has such a great personality and she will love everyine and cares for everyone and just wants people to laugh and have fun. I know, I know she is a mini me right ? lol I just L.O.V.E. that girl. I seriously love everything about her from her cute curly hair to her stobborn ways. She is an awesome daughter already and I cant wait to see how she as she gets older. She always wants to help clean which is an added bonus ;) I can't believe she is 2 already time has flown by so fast she is now in a toddler bed and thinks it is the best thing in the world, next step potty train and NO binkis! lol wish me luck.
My amazing husband Jacob is still at Discover Card doing everyone else's job and still seems to manage to go back with a smile. I dont know how he does it but he is amazing and I know his employees love being around his fun care free attitude. He is so awesome and I am so grateful for his hardwork and dedication to my little family to keep us happy. He would do anything in the world for me and I believe that. He loves his sweet little girl and I am happy to say he is FINALLY going to a morning shift so we can see him for more than 4 hours a day!!!!! whoo hoo! It seems like I have been waiting for this answer to my prayers for. . . let's see we have been married for almost 6 years in May so... yep almost 4 years :) I am SO EXCITED can you tell!
Jacob and I have been so blessed. I love our life and where we are right now. I love that we have a home and little girl, a dog and I can be a stay at home mom for my sweet Mikaela. We are so lucky and I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for giving us all the beautiful and wonderful blessings in our lives. I have definetly learned about patience and have a true testimony of it as well. A lot of wonderful things have come to Jacob and I because of our patience and our Love for the savior. I cant believe how much my testimony grows and the new things I find I have testimony of by other people's example. I am grateful for my independence and of who I am and that I dont need to please anyone, but myself and Jacob. I am poud to bare my testimony to others in need of it and hope it helps others. Thank you all for the examples you are to me and for helping me be who I am. I love my beautiful family. I love my parents and siblings and for the lessons they continue to teach me in life. My lifeis amazing and I hope other's that read this can say the same about their own lives! Happy 2011!

Yard work and Remodeling :)

Can I just tell you that I love having a Yard now! I am not living there which is lame, but it is still mine and I can do whatever I want to it! I have beautiful roses that are in bloom all along the front of my home and HUGE lilac bushes on the side over a gate that is completely covered. So I have projects to do all summer long and a lawn that needs to be manicured and a garden that needs to be eaten :)
I mowed the lawn for the first time since we had the home last wed and it took me about 2 hours to complete it and 17 loads of grass. I know that it will probably get old real fast which is why I am doing this now while I am still excited about it! Mikaela just sits like an angel in the pack n play out in the shade with her sippy and food and toys the whole time! I couldnt believe she was just hangin out! She is going to love playin in the yard with me and takin naps after! We have quite a few stray cats around our home and one cat had a liter of kittens but I found 2 on the lawn that didnt make it and it is sad to watch her come around and keep searching for them. Mikaela loves all the "kitty cats" and she screams at the top of her lungs when she sees one and she scares it off lol so funny! We have adopted one and named her tiger lily cuz she is gray with black tiger stripes but we dont feed her or pet her cuz we dont really like cats ha ha ha, but it entertains mikaela til we can get a puppy then we wont have cats around anymore :)
Jacob and my dad went up last Saturday and worked on the demolition of the kitchen and one of the metal sheds in the back yard. I am so glad they finished so we can move in the new kitchen next week and then move home!!! It will be wonderful to live there! I am guessing we will be done with the remodeling by the 12th and move in on the 14th YAY for moving!

So Life is great! I knew that the year 2010 would be a great one, but I never knew how great so now that it is May I can tell you the first 4 months have been FAB!
Firstly baby is healthy and is so smart! She learns about 3 new words or sounds or tricks a day, she has all her teeth except 2 year molars and she loves having teeth, she is the best happy girl ever!!! I LOVE being with her and being able to spend all my time and energy on her. She is down to only 1 nap a day now so we have time to do stuff in the morning and takes a nap then we have the afternoon too. I am so blessed to have such a beautiful and happy baby girl that loves kids and dogs and people and most foods :) I am a very proud mom.
Secondly I got a little side job at Magnolia Grove Reception Center and I am working every other Saturday and love it! It is so much fun spending time with the beautiful new bride and seeing that young love all over again! I just want to take it home with me :) It is fun being on the wedding consultant side and helping engaged couples pick colors and cakes and invites. I love planning my wedding and I am hoping I can make it just as fun for the people I am helping.
Next is the new home!!!!!! L.O.V.E this idea! I cant stop thinking about colors and how to decorate and planting my garden or water flowers and eventually getting an adorable puppy for my girl! ok me too :) I am not gonna lie about the game of house hunting.. It is a nightmare and I am glad it is over with and we sign papers next week, but at the same time it is a humbling time because you see tons of homes and for me I would pretty much wait for a feeling to come that would inspire us to look at the home or maybe not even spend our time looking at it. We did come close to getting a home off 6200 S and Bangeter, but 8 days before our closing date there had been 40k of Fraudulent Liens on the home that out title company found and we are so grateful they found it or else we would have inherited the 40 k and that would have been miserable, and now we get a beautiful little rambler in Lehi and we can live there forever. I am grateful for trials and blessings we receive in our lives.
Summer has lots of fun plans for us... I have my bike ride on the 5th of June and my cousin have made it to 30 miles a day now and go 4 times a week except for the rainy days :) so we are doing great for only having 2 months to prepare and I am super excited to do it. If I could I would make road biking my new hobby :) FLORIDA is only 90 days away!!! I cant wait for the beach, it has been far to long since I have been able to smell and touch the ocean. I am so excited to spend time with Jacob's family! I love his family so much! They are always laughing and making fun of themselves and I love being with them because they make me happy. It will be great to spend a week with them without baby, but I will miss her so much!
That has been the last 4 months excitement and there are many more to come! I cant wait!

Biking goal...

So I am taking on the challenge of doing a 100 mile bike ride and ya I know that is a super long distance! lol I am doing it with my amazing cousin Lisanne on June 5th. I have been borrowing my other cousins bike to train and workout a little and so far I am doing a lot better than expected! I have been doing about an hour a day in the morning for 2 days now :) The funny thing is that I seriously havent been on a bike in 8 years and my bike is from my 14th birthday :) This is great though I am way excited about it and have been workin hard to be ready in two months. Thanks for the oppertunity Lisanne!

So this morning I was Changing Mikaela's diaper and noticed some red splotching, diaper rash in it's beginning stages so I let Mikaela run around naked for a little while and dry out. While I was cleaning up her room I couldn't hear her anymore and as all of us mom's know... TROUBLE. Well turns out she had climbed into her car seat and was trying to put her straps on so we could go for a ride! So stinkin cute so I took pictures for you all! We also read in there and had snacks. She is like her mom and is ready yo go go go!

So last night Jake and I were peacefully asleep for about 2 and a half hours, which seems to be about the perfect time you hit your "Deep Sleep". AAAHHHH, ya that is what I heard in my ear through the monitor at 1:30 in the morning! I about died of a heart attack and ran to Mikaela's room thinking something terrible has happened and she did need help, lol.
It turns out that while she was sleeping she stuck her legs through the bars of her crib. All the way up to her thighs were hanging out over the crib and she was stuck! She kept crying mostly, I am sure because she was asleep when her legs got stuck and then because she woke up being stuck, which would make me a little ferocious too!
I had to wiggle her chubby little legs back through the gaps and then she was so mad she couldn't even breathe and she already has a bad cough so she sounded really bad, but as soon as daddy finally came in :)(after all the screaming and fussing of course) he rescues her and takes her in his arms and she falls right to sleep!
What would I do without Jake!!! LOL I can laugh about this now, but at 1:30 in the morning it was not very funny at all :)

Ok so this morning little goofy Mikaela wakes up and usually we have to say good morning to all the animals and the books and her 'Mama Bear', which is a ceramic bear on her dresser that she kisses, after we do that we can leave her room to go have breakfast, but this morning Mikaela had something else in mind lol she saw her stroller and started kissing it and trying to climb in so I opened it up and put her in and she just wanted to sit in there lol. I fed her breakfast and gave her snacks and books to read. She loves going for stroller rides and she is obviously ready for warm weather as much as I am!

So I have a wonderful friend in the ward and her name is Mickaela, and my daughter has 1 letter different from my her, so... Mickaela got a puppy from her husband and it is a beautiful Blue steel Great Dane! They named their Dog Kami so she is just 1 letter off of my name :) My Mikaela LOVES dogs! So Mickaela graciously brought over her 6 week old puppy to show us and of course she was super sweet and calm... now Kami is 6 months old and we still go visit, but she is no longer shorter than my little Mikaela LOL here are some pictures of these two playing!

Happy New Year everyone!!! I personally think 2010 sounds super sweet so I am really excited for this year! last year in 2009 Jake and I accomplished a million things! In no particular order :) Mikaela's 1st birthday, Jake graduating with his Bachelors, Jake's promotion FINALLY, Jake and I are still in love as you can tell by this very passionate New Years kiss that I am sure you all wanted to see so I put it up here (breathe) , anywhoo Life has been great and I cant wait for it to only get better! We have lots of hopes and dreams this year like a house and a dog lol, but we are happy and enjoying the small things as much as possible!
Happy New Year and I hope your 2010 will be the beginning of the best years ahead!

Yep I got all dolled up for the ending of 2009. It seems like I never get dolled up anymore with the kiddo now lol maybe I will do this more often since it was kinda fun :)!

Murder Mystery 2010!!!

We had so much fun doing this!!! We left all the babies home with sitters of course and played an awesome game! I am so glad most everyone could make it! We will definitly have to do this again with a bigger group! I was also so proud of everyone dressing up in their characters! Now that we know how to do this I am pretty sure the next on WILL BE LETHAL lol! Thanks again for playing everyone!

Wow I cant believe how neglected my house has been! Now that the Holiday's are kind of over I had a chance to stop for a sec and look around and I about screamed with how messy my house had gotten! first off this morning the handle broke off the toilet :) yep good ol' Alta Pines and so I called to get it fixed and then I moved on to find my floor and my kitchen sink and in the process took out 3 bags of trash, not including the little garbage bins! After that I vacuumed and I swear I went over my floor 5 times and there is still stuff smashed in the ground lol so now after all this I have my room left or I guess ( Jake's closet) :) I love ya babe! This will probably take a couple rounds to finish lol It looks like mountains all over lol I am sure Mikaela would like to climb all over them :)
So I am done venting about it and I guess I better get back to work! It is moments like this that I wish I had a real job so I didn't have to do this one for FREE! LOL

Christmas time!

This year I got my tree up early! I don't remember when exactly, but I know last year Jake wouldn't let me put it up til the 12 or 13th of December! I was so excited to put it up and I got new decorations for my tree from Tai Pan! Fuscia and Turquoise and I love it! I also got my elf duty done early so I can hopefully just relax and enjoy the next couple weeks! I am so excited for Mikaela to have her first real Christmas when she can open her presents and have fun! I know she is still little, but it is still exciting lol!

Catch up time!

Wow have a lot of things happened! I thought the chaos wouldn't start until we were closer to Christmas, but for my little family it started in November! First off Mikaela turned 1 on the 17th of November! She had the cutest My Little Pony party! I made her cake and she was so careful with it and loved it! She got the cutest outfits and funnest toys! She has been such a great baby girl for her first year and I am so grateful for her sweet little spirit! She has the funnest personality and just makes people smile! She has blessed her parents lives so much and we are truly lucky to have her in our life! Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped! Mikaela loves her friends a family!

After her birthday came little Lannaea's 1 year party. She is my other child that I have the opportunity to watch 2 or 3 times a week. Lannaea and Mikalea are only a week apart and they are the cutest friends! I love watching Lannaea and Mikaela play, tease, chase, cry, laugh and hug each other! They are the cutest friends ever!

The following Monday Jacob and I received a call from his parents that led to Jacob's Grandpa's health. He had had some problems that night and 1 1/2 of Grandpa's lungs had collapsed. We said many prayers and went to visit him with the Tindall family on Wednesday the 23 of November and say our goodbye's. He looked very happy and so peaceful. Grandpa later passed away Tuesday morning of the 24th. I am blessed to have know him for the past 6 years and I am glad our little Mikaela had her first year to meet Grandpa. I am so grateful for the plan of Salvation and for the opportunity to see Grandpa again and be with our families for eternity! We love Grandpa with all our hearts and will miss him dearly!

This year we were able to have an extra special Thanksgiving. This year we meet with Jacob's side of the family. Luckily for us we got to meet with both sides of his family. The Staples for many meetings and arrangements for the funeral and Tindalls for Thanksgiving. In that week alone I think I had seen more of Jakes family than the past 6 years! It was nice to have family around for that specific time in need and to hear all the stories and laughs that were shared. Thanksgiving was great as always and very satisfying!

Growing, growing, growing!

Yep I am talking about Mikaela as usual :) she is 10 1/2 months old now and I am stunned!!! She is starting to balance so well by herself. Jacob and I try to get her to walk to something and she lets go and tries to walk, but falls. I know she will be walking in about 5 seconds and I don't know if I am ready for that! I am way excited though. It was so funny a few days ago when Mikaela woke up her dad usually gets her and brings her into bed, but I went and got her and she was standing up in her bed, the second she saw me open the door she dropped down to her hands and knees and started crawling as fast as she could to get away from me lol It was so cute. I pulled her out and put her on the bed and when she saw her dad she started screaming and crawled over to him and then started pushing him so I joked around saying, " Dad wake up Santa came! Wake up Wake up!" It was so dang cute! I am sure I can wait for that day ;) but at the same time I am so excited to hear her say those words and see the look on her face!
That night Jake said, " You know what I am excited for?" " To do snow angels with her." He is such an awesome Dad! Mikaela is so lucky to have him as a daddy! Goodness I am a lucky woman~!

Yep that's right, play time is over for me, boo hoo! LOL I had one last party with my mom and dad at Jordanelle before my dad winterized the bought and tucked into hibernation! It was awesome though we just sat and skied and the water was A to the mazing! I cant believe how glassy it was in the middle of the day with a storm coming. I got my self up on one ski and it took me 3 times. I was so proud of myself :) I still wish I had a wake board, but I still got to play. My mom is still absolutely amazing at skiing too and she stayed up for like 15 min like it was nobodies business! Thanks for taking us out dad!!!

Summer is really lame I decided! This is my first real summer after having Mikaela and it has been so dang busy that I can hardly breathe!!! I love summer, I just wish I could pause for a bit! Anyway a lot has happened since the last update about a month ago! Mikaela has 7 teeth and #8 is on the way! She got 5 teeth in one week and yes lucky me it was on the week of the only vacation I got all summer long so ya, no it wasn't a vacation! I think Jake and I got a total of 16 hours of sleep in 4 days! Mikaela was in so much pain that she would only sleep if someone held her and melted frozen otter pops in her mouth all night long so we took 3 hour shifts. Thanks for putting up with my screaming baby family! Sorry it had to be that week :( I still did everything I could possibly do in the water since I hadn't been in a boat for 2 years!!! It was a total blast!
Mikaela is also crawling like crazy and stands up for a second then falls so I am sure she will start walking her real soon! She walks along the furniture in the house too! With her being 9 months old now there is just 1 issue I have and that is her tantrums she has started figuring out!!!!! Oh my gosh that girl can throw a fit and it is so funny to watch! She starts throwing her feet around and her fists and if she is standing she stomps the ground while crying of course! So awesome! I cant wait to see how long this lasts!
Oh a super awesome thing that happened last night is when Jacob walked through the door Mikaela jumped up and down and said DA DA!!! I loved it!!! She won't say it with me, but when she sees dad she will say it! She also started to wave Bye-Bye. My little girl is getting so big I cant even believe it!

Swimming!

We went swimming with the Schooley's a couple of weeks ago and Mikaela just loves it! She loves all the commotion going on and the splashing! I am so glad she is a little water baby because I really don't know how i would deal with her being scared of everything lol. Lannaea is the other sweet baby girl we swam with at the pool and it was so funny because she kept sneezing! She seriously sneezed 30 times in 5 min!

We were only there for an hour or so because it was getting cold, but it was so much fun and I got super cute pictures of the girls!

My beautiful little niece, Malorie slept over Friday night and spent Saturday with us and Mikaela had such a blast! Malorie was such a cute little babysitter and had so much fun being the little mom and making sure Mikaela was laughing 24/7! We went to the park and swung then it was time for lunch and Mal fed Mikaela and you can only imagine where the food wasn't! LOL so... into the tub they went! So cute I am totally ready to do it again, ... in a couple weeks ;) Here are some pictures of our fun weekend!

Bear Lake!

Jacob, Mikaela and I just got back from a quick get-a-way to Bear Lake with the Fam and it was so worth it!!! I am so grateful for my family and I love them so much, even though we all have issues every once and a while it makes us stronger I think. Mikaela had so much fun in the pool and watching her adorable cousins! They just love her and she loves them right back! I got alot of great pictures of them all.
I bought a new camera for myself so I could take pictures because Jacob bought me one for Mothers day last year, but I couldn't take it anywhere just to make sure it doesn't get ruined lol I love my husband for reasons like that, that are just funny lol

My little one is FINALLY getting her teeth!!! There have been many long nights of soothing and many more to come I am sure! I just saw her first one yesterday and the next one is almost through so hopefully last night was the last 4:00 a.m. late night for a little while and maybe I can get some more sleep! I cant wait to see if the other one broke through last night. Why is it that she can take 3 hour naps during the day, but has to wake up every 30 min at night? Oh well I really love holding her anyway it is the soprano screaming in the early mornings that get to me and my poor hubs that has been working 12 hour days! I hope we get a vacation for all this eventually lol I love you Mikaela!!!! Congrats on your little pearly whites!

Jacob and I have been on 2 hikes so far for the summer and Mikaela LOVES being outside! The first hike was for our 4 year anniversary and we went up big cottonwood canyon to Donut Falls and there was about a foot of snow on the trail and a few patches of mud lol. We packed a lunch and took off through the trees til the snow wouldn't allow us to go anymore. We had a blast for our Anniversary and we didnt spend a dime!!!

The second hike was for Memorial Day with the Tindall family and we went up Provo Canyon and had a great time with the family and took alot of fun pictures. We had a picnic and were up there for 5 hours so we were all pretty tired after, then we went to go see Grandma Tindall down on Springville so we got home around 7:00 p.m. It was quite a long day, but a very fun expierence!

I can't believe how fast little Mikaela is learning to do things! She rolls over all the time now since she figured it out yesterday! She loves going on her tummy and her back and it is so funny to watch her facial expression when she rolls. It is like she is confused with how she was on her back and now she is on her tummy! She is so dang cute! I will try to get a picture of her rolling so I can post it with the story.

Jacob has been gone on a business trip to Delaware since Tuesday morning and won't get back til Friday night and his little girls miss him so so so much! I thought the nights would get easier as the week went on, but I seem to miss him more and more! Mikaela got her first cold the day Daddy left and she gave it to me the next morning and so it has been quite the challenge without dad to help, but we are managing with Childrens tylenol, baby vicks, and the monster sucker! Poor Mikaela gets do mad at me when I get her boogies out, but when it is all done, she puts on her beautiful smile and starts pointing at something shinny, so she is grateful I am sure and forgets the second it is done. It has also been kind of nice because she sleeps most the day with this cold so I can get alot of things done!
I can tell she misses her Daddy to because every once and a while I will catch her looking at the door which is usually where she finds daddy when he comes home. I cant wait to see her sparkling face when Daddy walks through the door Friday night! We miss you Daddy and hope you are having a safe and fun trip! Love your girls!

Mikaela has the cutest smile and I cant get over the fact of how beautiful my little one is! I am sure every Mom does the exact same thing! Here are some things I LOVE...
1) Her chubbyness
2) Her Smile because she looses her eyes!
3) Her funny cry(s) and coughs for attention.
4) When she gets so excited and squeels when she sees daddy walk through the door.
5) Little screams through the monitor that wake us up in the morning.
6) Little screams while she plays
7) Laughing at the cieling or the door.
8) Playing with her toes while I change her diaper.
9) Wanting to eat the bubbles in her tub.
10) Chewing on EVERYTHING!
11) Her soft touches to figure things out then she grabs and eats.
12) Her funny noises while she eats. num num num
13) How she stands up so tall!
14) Her crunches because she is laying down and wants to get up!
15) How she dispises "The Bucket"!
16) Her facination with mouths and noses.
17) When she has stareing contests and wont blink for 3 or 4 minutes.
18) Her T.V. habits and how she can find a tv anywhere!
19) Her beutiful facial features, blue eyes, long eyelashes, button nose.
20) She looks like her daddy!

Mikalea has been doing great sleeping 9 hours and then a couple weeks ago she would wake up screaming and wouldnt go back to bed! It made me so sad to see her in pain, but i didnt know what it was and then I figured it was her teeth coming! I bought some teething tablets, thanks to Ang, and she is sleeping again which is nice! She is getting her bottom 2 and they are getting really swollen and starting to get red so I am sure they will be out in a couple of weeks lol I hope.

Wow my little one just keeps growing! I have realized that her little fragile newborn days are over and she just wants to play, laugh, and stay up from her naps already! At her apt. she weighed 16lbs.9 oz. and she was 25 1/2 inches long! My goodness did she top the charts at 96% and 90%! Congratulations my little one!

Saturday night, Jacob and I went to Suzanne and Eric Taylor's home to visit their new baby boy and around 10:00 p.m. I was holding Mikaela while we were playing a game with Nate and Ana Schooley and Mikaela just started laughing histarically! she couldnt stop goggling and it was the cutest thing ever! Of course we didnt have our video camera to record it so I am hoping she does it again, but it was seriously the cutest thing to hear her laugh like that! It was almost like she was past the tired and at the loopy stage and everything made her laugh! I love my little Mikaela!

I cant believe how big my little one is getting! We had a busy day today, but a happy one. We first went to Mikaela's Great Great Grandma's funeral this morning and that was a sad, but wonderful experience and then Mikaela went to go see her new baby cousin at St. Marks. His name is Lincoln and he is super cute, that is what made me realize how big Mikaela is because he is so tiny and he is a bigger than Mikaela when she was born! It was crazy fun to see them together I am sure they will be great friends! Then we went home and all took a very much needed nap! Mikaela doesn't get to play with dad very much because of work and school so she took advantage of him all day today! It was very cute and I love watching my very best friends!

My little Mikaela seems to have a bad case of the Smiles! She has had it since she got home from the hospital and it seems to get worse! Lol! Last night she didn't want to go to sleep so we put her in the middle of the bed and played with her and she was so cute! she made the cutest noises and gurgles and squeals! She even laughed for half a second! She is so happy and I am so glad! It sure makes my job a lot easier!
Mikaela just makes me laugh and smile with her!

Mikaela, Me, and Grandma Scott went to the Dr. office on the 23rd for Mikaela's 2 month check-up and for vaccinations. My little cabbage patch baby now weighs 12lbs. and 9 oz! She is 22 and 5/8 in long! She has very proudly doubled her weight since her 2 week apt.!
As for the shots, I have been trying to prepare myself for her scream of pain for the last couple weeks and now that it was time I didn't want to deal with seeing my little one get hurt! Well Mikaela proved me wrong! She is one tough little girl! She got 3 shots and an oral dose and she didn't even shed a tear! She made a little whine cry for about 10 sec and as soon as the 3rd shot was over, she stopped. I cant believe how brave and good this one is! I just look at her and wonder why I get such a good baby that just wants to sit and stare and then smile all day long. I love her to death and couldn't ask for a better daughter!

It seems like I wake up at 8:00 a.m. everyday and before I know it, it is 3:00 in the afternoon! I cant believe how fast the day goes by when all I do is sit around most the time and play with Mikaela! I finally got the green light to drive and workout again so that is nice to do, but it seems like I still don't have time to do the dishes and make dinner for Jake lol sorry I must be to caught up in the mommy world! which is a total blast!!!

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by for me! WOW! We have been blessed so much this year from job promotions to a new little member in the Tindall family! We have truly been blessed and are so grateful for everything that has happened this year! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and enjoy the end of this year as we begin 2009!

These pictures were taken for Christmas this year, obviously, and also of Mikaela in her blessing dress that her Great-Grandma Joy Reynolds made for her, whom she is named after. Mikaela Joy will be blessed the last week of this year.

One Month OLD!!!

WOW! I cant believe it has been a month already! It seems like every day is the exact same and I have lost all track of time by reading twilight finally and being mom. It is so much fun!
Mikaela is starting to smile more when she is awake instead of smiling in her sleep so at least we know we kind of make her happy lol. She is also starting to sleep ALOT better, Whoo hoo! she is sleeping almost 5 hours now! I am so so so excited for her to sleep 6 hours It will seem like I got 8 hours of sleep, but I guarantee I will still take a nap with her during the day!
Mikaela also took a bottle for the first time last night with out even thinking about it! She really likes milk! It is great having her complete all the little milestones for these beginning stages, but it also shows me how fast she is already growing! She almost doesn't fit some of her new born clothes now, but that means I can get ready to put her in the rest of her closet that is full of cute clothes!

The arrival of Mikaela Joy

What better way to start a blog than with a new chapter in my life?

Our Little Mikaela Joy Tindall was born November 17, 2008 at 11:40 a.m. at Alta View Hospital. Everything was going great that morning, I started having contractons at about 3:00 a.m., but waited to go into the hospital til 7:30 a.m. and after the questions and paperwork the Dr. broke my water around 8:50 a.m. and I had the Epidural around 10:00 a.m. When I recieved the epidural the first time it had gone into a vein so they re entered it a second time and it worked, but it is now about 10:30, shortly after I recieved the epidural my blood pressure dropped dramatically so the elevated my legs and gave me oxygen to get the blood flowing back to my heart and brain, when that happened the epidural started moving into my chest and then Mikaela's heart rate dropped down to 60.

When this happened the brought my legs back down to start working with the baby and got her heart rate back to 120, but about 5 min later my blood pressure dropped again so they elevated me once more, but this time the epidural started to numb my whole body. Eventually it got to my lungs and diaphram and i couldnt breathe anymore, The Dr's rushed me to ICU for an emergency C- Section and that is all I remember...

... I woke up at 2:00 p.m. and saw my husband holding my hand and then I noticed I didnt have my big bulging belly. I started to wake up and panic even more and noticed I was strapped down to the bed because I had a tube down my throat to help me breath and another tube to keep my tounge from being in the way, that made me panic even more and then I would pass out again. This went on for about 15 to 20 min I was told from my husband and he did such a good job trying to keep me calm. He told me we have a beautiful healthy baby girl and she weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz and is 19 in long and showed me pictures of her on the camera. Eventually I was realeased from ICU and put in my room, but I didnt wake up entirely til about 4:15 p.m. At this point I was finally able to see my baby girl for the first time and hold her.

I honestly dont remember the first day and a half in the hospital, but I am sure it is a memory that will be in my husband and my mothers mind for a long time.

That is just a reminder that there are guardian angels all around us and that our Heavenly Father truely loves us and cares about each one of his children and we are very blessed and Grateful for all the Dr's and Nurses that were able to move so quickly and know exactly what to do.
